Pi(e) Day

For once I’d like to thank the Americans and their tendency to do things differently. Their convention for dates is to list the month before the day, which is a bit odd for Europeans, but led to the creation of Pi day (3.14). Which of course is celebrated by pie. Since feeding people is a passion for me I’ve adopted Pi day into my calendar and usually make a steak and ale pie for dinner. This year is special as it’s actually extending the accuracy to the 4th decimal point (3.1415) so clearly more pie was required 😁 I also felt the need to make a sweet pie (and eat it). 

I therefore proudly present my White Chocolate and Macadamia Pie:
